For the last decade, Tempur-Pedic has partnered with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) to raise awareness and donations for pancreatic cancer research.

Claiming the lives of nearly 50,000 Americans each year, pancreatic cancer has a 5-year survival rate of just 10% — making it the world’s deadliest major cancer.*

However, as a result of the dedicated work of PanCAN and their passionate donors, pancreatic cancer patients are able to receive more effective and personalized treatment options than ever before. From 2014 to 2020, the five-year survival rate increased from 6 percent to 10 percent.

That’s why we’re especially proud to donate $200,000 to PanCAN in 2020, to help the organization maintain this positive momentum and continue to make impactful progress with patient care, clinical research, early and more accurate detection, and more.

We know this year has turned out very different than we first imagined, but the threat of pancreatic cancer continues — and we’re hoping you’ll help us raise awareness for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

With nearly 60,000 Americans expected to be diagnosed this year,* it’s crucial that we educate others about this disease that takes so many lives so quickly. Many members of the Tempur-Pedic family have been personally affected by pancreatic cancer – including Todd Miller, who spearheaded Tempur-Pedic’s support for PanCAN, who later lost his brother to the disease at the young age of 47.
